Since it’s the first book of a series, we are indeed facing a cliffhanger and questions surrounding our head about things happening, some secrets we’d love to have revealed. Savage Games always has a mix of suspense, a small (or is it?) amount of danger, delicious spice along with some occasional thriller elements to surely keep you addicted and so entertained. The steam is hot and the story is slowly evolving into a RH which is teasingly promising and I can't act as if I'm not excited to read more of it. There's a stalker, an old money social system, 3 guys all with different baggage who are fiercely loyal to each other... it was a fun one. Ends not quite with a cliffhanger but where you definitely don't have all the answers and need more book! After reading the prequel (I highly recommend doing this as it gives you a little glimpse and more understanding of the world) I knew this book was going to have me hooked. I loved the whole setting of this book. It is set in a dark academia kind of vibe. A secret society. The school where the members of the society send their children for training to be part of the society. The Lawless who run the school. The games. The secrets. Oh I was so excited. It was so detailed and I felt being transported to a whole new world.Scarlett is forced to attend Boulder Cove Academy after one too many instances of expulsion in public schooling. She's managed to avoid this life until now. Now forced into the direct orbit of The Lawless, Crew, Jagger, and Neo the games only just beginning. What happens when things start to go south and somebody starts to undermine the Lawless? Well, that's when things get interesting of course. The question is who is doing it and why are they interested in Scar so much? Scar takes no shit though! She's feisty as hell and doesn't take any of their crap lying down. She has to participate in "the games" to earn her place in the hierarchy and these guys waste no time trying to bend her will.
This moment is everything I wanted for so long, until I didn’t want it at all. Now that it’s here again, I want it to last forever. For this to be a RH, almost no spice! But the hate sex was hot. Maybe book one is a warm up to book two. My second pet peeve is the instant best friend. Come on, just once make the FMC want to attend the party if she attending the party is so important to the story, we don't need a friend that have no other reason to be in the story other than to take the FMC to the party. I absolutely devoured this book! I knew going in from the tropes that I was going to enjoy this book but the storyline and character building absolutely consumed me. I have so many questions after that ending and I’m dying to start Vicious Lies!

Savage Games is a why choose romance where the main character gains multiple love interests over the course of three books. Please advise this series is a dark romance with bully elements. She loves to write—and read—flawed bad-boys and strong heroines. You can expect dark elements, a dash of suspense, and a lot of steam. Scarlett is a heroine that I immediately liked. This is a tough as nails FMC that isn't afraid to stand up for herself. Growing up, she was the one on the outskirts of the group. The immediate object of dislike from Neo, and his two best friends that followed suit. The bullying is done well and with enough of a unique convincing motive for each character that it feels authentic; yet rarely crosses the line in a way that is completely morally impossible to redeem—I dig it. Savage Games is book one in the Bastards of Boulder Cover series. A dark suspense filled reverse harem romance.I need the next book now. I got so taken in by this! For fans of avademy/society reverse harem, you will not be disappointed.
