I can’t say I’m entirely surprised, as this is my third Orient watch, and all of them have had superb case finishing, especially for the low price of these affordable watches. The best budget panda dial chronograph is the Orient Neo 70s Panda, in my opinion. It’ is a lovely watch that has got many hours of wrist time on my own personal wrist. What an honor! It’s a pretty awesome movement, and considering the price is about the same as the Neo70s, you do need to decide what you value more. Do you prefer the beautiful aesthetics and unique design of the Orient Panda? Or do you prefer to have a watch with a fully mechanical movement? PROS The Neo70s seems to be a completely unique design, at least. as far as I know. Feel free to correct me in the comments if I am wrong.

It’s lumed just barely on the edge of the hour markers, and on the tips of the skeletonized hands. It’s not very strong, nor bright and doesn’t last very long. I see the Chrono-Mako is 42.8 mm dia, has 22mm lugs so it slots in between the current Kamasu (41.9 mm) and the Triton II (43.4 mm). As fellow bloggers Two Broke Watch Snobs mentioned in their Neo70s review, the movement in this watch is a bit puzzling. The Zenith Defy El Primero comes in two variations: the panda dial and the reverse panda dial. This is the manufacturer’s flagship watch series and is also one of the most stunning timepieces that we have come across. This timepiece is another high-end luxury watch and features an impeccable watch design that is accompanied by premium-grade materials as well. The panda dial on this watch is very interesting, as most panda dials tend to have a white or silver dial.

The top pusher often functions as a start/stop button for the chronograph, and the bottom pusher often functions as a reset. The Orient Neo70 has a milky dial that’s colored somewhere between white and cream and makes the watch look oh so classy.I’ve also worn the Orient Neo70s on a rally-style rubber strap in the summer since it’s very comfortable even in the warmest temperatures.
