Custom designed for the new Focused Flow frame and to work in tandem with the eleven stator guide vanes, the NF-F12's seven blade Heptaperf impeller has been carefully optimised to achieve a perfect balance between power and quietness. The fan’s voltage-stabilised inrush current suppression provides a smooth power-up and dramatically reduces power line transients that otherwise could affect other electronic components connected to the power line. This makes the fan safe to use in sensitive electronic environments. Integrated anti-vibration pads made from extra-soft silicone minimise the transmission of minute vibrations while maintaining full compatibility with all standard screws and other mounting systems.

The industrialPPC 24V SP models use Noctua’s new NE-FD5 high-performance single-phase PWM motor driver IC. Thanks to its excellent commutation efficiency, the NE-FD5 enables the SP versions to achieve exactly the same performance as previous models with three-phase motors. The fan's short (20cm) primary cable minimises cable clutter in typical applications while the supplied 30cm extension provides extended reach when necessary. Both cables are fully sleeved and a 4-pin Y-cable allows you to connect a second NF-F12 fan to the same PWM fan header for automatic control.Noctua’s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frames feature integrated anti-vibration pads as well as Noctua’s proprietary Stepped Inlet Design and Inner Surface Microstructures, both of which further refine the fan’s performance/noise efficiency. Both the impeller and the frame of Noctua’s industrialPPC fans are made entirely from fibre-glass reinforced polyamide. This material can withstand temperatures up to 140°C and makes the fans even more robust and break-proof than Noctua’s standard fibre-glass reinforced PBT fans. The NF-F12 is supplied with a Low-Noise Adaptor (L.N.A.) which reduces the maximum fan speed from 1500 to 1200rpm. The L.N.A can be used either to run the fan at a fixed speed of 1200rpm or to cap the maximum speed when using automatic PWM control. Ive recently fitted 4 of these fans to my Phanteks Enthoo pro M case 3 on the front as intakes and 1 on the rear as an exhaust. My first impression is there good fans as my idle temps on my components have dropped a few c as have my load temps. on idle my system is near silent I hear my GPU fans over the case fans. Im planning on getting another 2 of these to fit to my Phanteks cpu cooler.
