About this deal

Before Electric Callboyhits the road in North America, the band will tour across Europe, appearing at some of the biggest festivals this summer; after the USA headliner, they will head to the UK for a special run of shows. See below for all EU/UK dates! Kottonmouth Kings 'Fight To Unite' ". pollstar.com. 15 February 2013. Archived from the original on 25 December 2013. If you prefer uptempo clubcore, then ‘ Arrow of Love‘ is going to hit you right in your stupid Cheshire grin sporting face. Once again combining everything this band do so well, we’ve got an anthemic chorus of simplistic lyrics that go “I wanna share my love / with everyone around / I wanna spread some love / I’m feeling the beat”; there’s more of a focus on the techno aspects, alongside 80’s inspired synthesisers and catchy screams AND a keytar solo that leads into a juicy breakdown. My EDM phase may have died a long long time ago, but I can just imagine fluoro wearing Browny losing his mind to this at Summafielddayzeor Global Gathering (I didn’t go to Stereosonicbecause I wasn’t ripped enough).

The lyrics deal with themes such as getting drunk, parties, and sex. [41] The band call their music "Porno Metal". [40] In an interview with the German magazine FUZE, vocalist Sebastian Biesler said that their lyrics only use clichés in a satirical way. [42] German Metal Hammer magazine published a positive review of the band, writing, "This is why Eskimo Callboy is enjoyable: because they dismiss themselves and let the fun rule". On 8 April 2022, the band released their first song under their new name, "Spaceman", featuring rapper Finch. [7] On 15 April 2022, Electric Callboy announced Tekkno, which was released on 9 September 2022. [8] [9]

On 12 February 2020, the band announced through their social media appearances that the previous singer "Sushi" would be leaving the band. [15] "Sushi" went on to start a new project called "Ghostkid". [16] Introduction of Sallach, international success, name change, and Tekkno (2020–present) [ edit ]

One of my favourite things about the electronic components of the album is how the band don't try to necessarily sound particularly modern/contemporary either with them, as is usually the case with other metalcore acts when implementing synths these days. On-brand as ever with their unapologetic love for classic, shamelessly fun vibes, the band very specifically draws from classic 80s, 90s and early 2000s eurodance/eurobeat, trance, acid house, hardstyle, schlager and more when it comes to the exact tone and soundscape of the synths, beats and loops at play here. As diverse and as electrifying as their name, ELECTRIC CALLBOY is thrilled to announce they will be returning to Australia for their first headlining tour as part of their TEKKNO world tour this November.
