Overall, I would recommend it to friends with PS4s and PCs that want a novel experience trying PSNow (bkz I'm curious Now), friends without built-in Bluetooth, and friends with a specific situation such as similar to my own oddball desires and requirements. This is exactly what I needed for my laptop. I use remote play A LOT, and this is the perfect solution for me. It allows me to use my controller wireless as well plug in my headphones directly into my controller port. It is a very nice and elegant solution. Aim: to test for native gaming compatibility with PC games. Many are aware of DS4Windows and similar third-party apps which are clearly successful but the point is to see if this dongle works without any additional software.) Once that support does make its way into Steam, we’ll revisit the adapter to see where it stands. The Update I am pleased to say that this dongle has entirely eliminated the latency issues I was experiencing via Bluetooth and seems to be just as responsive as the USB connection. For me, it works flawlessly and I would highly recommend it.

One thing to note, as has been mentioned by others, this dongle does nothing to improve the native compatibility of the DS4 controller with a PC; you will still need to use some third party software to get full use of your DS4 on your PC (unless you are just intending to use the DS4 for the PlayStation PC apps).
