The Yes: I appreciate having a dark fantasy that doesn’t have vampires or fae - those are a bit overdone in my opinion.FMC is awful and spineless, nothing happens literally at all through the whole book, no excitement, no emotion and over all just a waste of time. What actually happens is the same situations just repeating itself over and over again until 100 pages in. I also wish that the author would take a bit more of a risk with the MMC to stand out from all the other dark fantasy romance and do something different and unexpected.
