I'm pretty sure the sound would've easily benefitted from a DMM mastering by either Record Industry or GZ Media. Still, the overall sound quality is not so bad that it'll end up "taking up room in my collection gathering dust", as one other reviewer mentioned in his Discogs comments for the EU pressing. I was expecting something much lighter from the film (pretty brutal at times, without Hot Fuzz-like humour to lift it) - but the movie's music was the real stand-out. I guess I was right to be concerned about this being longer than normal for a double-LP with regular lacquer cuts.
