Warned by other reviews, I ran mine through my record cleaning machine before playing, and was pleasantly surprised. With just a couple of songs Lana Del Rey has completely rejuvenated and revalidated the whole of popular music.

It was probably dirty out of the factory from those darn paper sleeves, which I immediately replaced with plastic ones after cleaning and you should too.
