Update From Heidi After Over A YearI really like the fact it's green and so gentle on just about everyone and everything, which is important because we have winter skin sensitivities in my home, so unscented and/or hypoallergenic laundry products are a must. I did find that if I pretreated the oil spots ( created by the washing machine/detergent) with Dawn dishwashing liquid and washed the shirt again, I could sometimes get the oil spots out. Unfortunately, if I were to take a brutal approach, I would state that it smells like an everyday all-purpose cleaner.Almat is owned by Aldi which is not an ethical company due to poor worker’s rights in its supply chain, inadequate animal welfare policies, and for being accused of profiting from genocide by sourcing cotton from Xinjiang. This indicates that over time, the detergent's constituents can naturally deteriorate when these detergents are washed away, whether through the laundry or other cleaning tasks.
