About this deal

The southern end of the site once held the Driffield to Malton railway which disappeared in to the mile long Burdale tunnel about half way up this dale, reappearing by the deserted medieval village of Wharram Percy to the North. You'll have to get used to this small flaw of mine, but I become quite rabid if anyone dares to sniff around you. The MC is all sexism is bad, I hate men are gross, BUT two women HAD to be raped for our main characters to get their happy ending and another had to be tortured in locked room isolated for fucking decades.

Soon, she finds herself embroiled in a web of lies, deceit, and inexplicable events that make her question her sanity. Anyone who knows my reviews knows I hardly ever give 5* because for me the the story has to have everything that I prefer. The world building was exquisite, especially considering the multiple historical settings that we were given. Despite him being on his best behavior today—playful, flirty, and seemingly having my best interests at heart—“ ? if we had the time to spend on the spell, the saving of the world, the deaths of everyone who tried to keep Sela and Amon apart—then their HEA would be earned.

She wanders along the road, passing me to the stable block and, using a hose pipe, fills a huge water bucket, Nettie looks on, then decides to have a drink from it and has his head stroked. There is public access land running alongside the trackbed from the bottom of Burdale station approach which runs to within viewing distance of the southern portal. You have no idea how confused I was with Caleb because how could I feel the same way about two different people? Onto the content of the book, be prepared, you’re going to experience the best adventure that Veronica has ever taken you on! It didn't help that I didn't really like any of the characters and the romance felt out of sorts because of the whole going back and forth between timelines. If you enjoyed Hollow Heathens by Nicole Fiorina or Gothikana by Runyx, I think you'd also really enjoy this one.

i love unreliable narrators—and seeing the unreliability coming from past lives—but the intentional misleading the author wrote in her note at the beginning did not work at all for a book of this length. I read and loved “War, Unfinished: A Dark Villain Romance Saga (Arte De La Guerra Saga Book 1), also written by Veronica Lancet. Not a usual subject on the Wolds but I was happy to sit here and wait for the tracks of passing light in the dale below. I don’t have the energy to try to summarize this book, nor do I think it can really be done properly, so I’ll just discuss what I liked and didn’t like. I received this ARC which I’m so grateful for, at probably one of the most busiest and stressful times of my life HAHA.I know we all say we want a book boyfriend bc they can do no wrong BUT this hero everything I could ever want. but this book could have been cut in half—even with the longevity of timespan—and still have been ~500 pages. I venture the comment, "newts" making her eye me suspiciously, before I explain that they are voracious consumers of tadpoles. the interesting storylines—Arkgor, Amon impersonating an already deceased Caleb, the magic and lore of another world in the 1700s—all fell backseat to Darcy’s inner questioning, bemoaning, and second guessing.
