Smells like the ultimate coquette perfume, something a French or English princess would have worn, really pretty. Jennifer Lopez is an American actress, dancer, TV personality, fashion designer and platinum-selling recording artist. I categorize tropical with fresh fruits mixed with florals — tiare, plumeria (Frangipani) or jasmine. I can see how it would quickly become too much if I over sprayed it, but one little spray seems perfect for me.

It's an oddly aggregated, generalized tropical smell -- I don't get a distinct coconut note from it, for example. Glow is a cheap smelling powdery, soapy warm floral that I associate with poor taste and the early 2000's. For a celebrity fragrance release, the last 20 years we’ve come to know them as sexy, sweet, candy, sugar concoctions, this is completely different. She's been wearing Miami Glow every single summer since forever, so she loves it for those memories, not because it's an amazing fragrance.Miami Glow doesn’t strike me as synthetic or screechy at all, in fact this will probably become my new post-shower pre-bedtime fragrance. I bought this perfume based on so many positive reviews, especially on youtube from various influencers but I am so disappointed.

I decided to spray Glow all over myself, and I am telling you that something came alive with this fragrance. Julie Naughton and Pete Born of WWD noted that Benrd Beetz, Coty's CEO, said that with Glow by JLo, Lopez started the trend of celebrity-endorsed fragrances, writing: "Beetz credits the successful Lopez project for laying the groundwork for the company's other celebrity brands, which include Halle Berry and Beyoncé, and the upcoming Lady Gaga and Madonna fragrances. Upon first few smells, I thought hmmm now I recognize this scent because I wash my hair with the same smell. A limited edition extended play was released alongside the fragrance, featuring the "Everbot's Showtime Edit" of Jenny from the Block and the "Alt. Initially, I wasn't sure if I liked it back then; however, I ended up wearing it a lot, finishing the bottle, and moving on.Further to my review below I just wanted to add for people who are worried about not having enough backups/ wanting to try this perfume, I think it would be extremely easy to replicate by layering. It’s the perfect dumb reach when worn alone or when layered properly, it has the ability to smell a little luxurious. you will get the best out of this perfume if u do a single spray on each of your pulse points and that's it- a single layer. I have a few in my collection, and of all the tropical and summery scents that I have, this is at the absolute bottom of the list of things that I'd ever wear.

Sure it smells beachy, tropical, Summery and a little like sunscreen, but aren't there enough fragrances like that already?I don’t love beachy fragrances with that suntan lotion DNA but this is more like a lightly sweetened fruity musk. I wore this after being at the beach all day and as weird as this sounds, it mixes well with heat and sweat and smells good. It starts with lush and juicy notes of pink grapefruit, Coconut water, passionfruit and blackcurrant. While I like Miami Glow, it has no lasting power, and the original sounded great but I just couldn't get past that industrial chemical odor.
