About this deal

When talking about specialized nutrition plans that can be gotten as a way of treatment for neurological predicaments in children, one I, in particular, that is enhancing in fame and getting a lot of fans is the Nemechek protocol. Mid-February, Marshall’s teacher asked how basketball and dance were going, and I shared how well he was doing. I told her how he waltzed right in without any issue, and she made the comment that she, “felt like he was a different kid lately.” I couldn’t believe it! She saw it too! I poked and prodded a little about what she meant by that, and finally shared what we’d been doing. She saw a noticeable difference in the classroom starting in mid-January, when Marshall was about two weeks into the protocol. The treatment involves a two-step process that aims to rebalance intestinal bacteria and omega fatty acids, which in turn allows the child's brain to begin to heal and function properly. The Nemechek Protocol recommends the use of fish oil, extra virgin olive oil, and the prebiotic inulin while cooking. In older patients, inulin can be replaced with Rifaximin, which is a prescription antibiotic. These are used mainly to reduce gut inflammation, restore omega 3:6 balances, and aid in cellular repair. What are the benefits of Dr. Nemchek protocol ? There’s no doubt that some parents will not have success with the program (such as this mom who stopped using the protocol). And no doubt that many in the mainstream medical community regard the doctor’s program as illegitimate. The treatment involves a two-step process that aims to rebalance intestinal bacteria and omega fatty acids, which in turn allows the child's brain to begin to heal and function properly. The basics of the approach consist of cooking with extra-virgin olive oil and introducing inulin and omega-3 fatty acid supplements into a child's daily regimen, and the book lays out the exact steps and appropriate doses, based on age.

In animal studies, high propionic acid leads to the development of antisocial behaviors, increased sensitivity to sound, light, and touch, as well as gait abnormalities. In human studies, children with autism have very high concentrations of propionic acid within their tissues. On top of that, the Nemechek Protocol and diet also calls for Omega-3 fatty acids. Specifically, it calls for the omega-3, DHA. DHA is one of the three omega-3 fatty acids. DHA is abundant in animal tissues such as wild salmon. I don't discount all Protocols and Experts, just the ones that I think may be fishy. (Sorry, humor again. It's a problem I have.) You ask why I have a distrust of experts? Perhaps if you had sat in as many expert's offices and had to explain to them 1) what PANDAS is and 2) current accepted protocols for how to treat it, you would be a bit wary too. Or heard "Our best guess for treatment is antibiotics every day until your child is 18 or 21. Oh, and would you like to apply to have your child be a part of our latest research study on IVIG vs placebos?" Hmmmm. No thank you National Institute for Mental Health. (Since we're on the subject of guinea pigs and experimenting on our kids...) Nope. Nemechek’s supposed miracles for autism don’t tinker directly with the brain. Rather, the protocol improves brain function by improving the health of the gut. Oh well, it's a fair statement because he doesn't link vaccines directly to autism, which science has proven, but links them through a very indirect way to autism, which science has kind of proven to not be true but not yet, because it's very hard to test that. Yet, why the sum of all these inflammatory responses cause autism and not another syndrome science doesn't have a source to pin to? Because the Nemechek Protocol is about Autism actually, but can in a way or another, as he states, be applied to a lot of diseases, more exactly: This book is clearly to do with Capitalism just like ABA, trying to make a profit out of autistic people based on ideology, not based on valid evidence.

Within 4-8 weeks, the doctor says that many times, brain dysfunction goes away. Recovery starts to happen. They have no answer which is further evidence defining healthy development in terms of self sufficiency is not supported by science, it's a political ideal this ableist world has come to. Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) occurs when the type of bacteria that’s supposed to live only in your colon get stirred up and migrate into your small intestine.Nemechek’s specialty is the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS). The well-being of the ANS is crucial for the brain’s communication with cells, organs, bodily functions, and inflammation. I readily admit that there are no “placebo-blinded human studies” to support my preventative recommendations contained in this chapter. My recommendations come from deductive reasoning and common sense that if inulin and fish oil are able to reverse the neurological damage underlying autism and developmental delay, then the same treatments stand a reasonable chance of preventing them as well." The inulin worked for a few months, and then I had to switch to taking Xifaxin. As an adult, you may find the same is true for you. The Nemechek protocol includes the giving out of fish oil, more virgin olive oil, and the prebiotic inulin which is used for only younger patients. It is alternated when used for older patients, instead of using the inulin, for older patients, we use Rifaximin, a prescribed antibiotic.

Patients may consider using prescribed medications but for optimal outcomes, make sure you blurt it out to Dr. Nemechek and how to flow in with your supplement input, medication, diet, and lifestyle while on the protocol.

Parents who have taken their children for treatment through this protocol often share testimonies about how their children are processing and doing normal things again. For children, the improvement might show up a little sooner than that of teenagers and young men. Red flag number 2, autism research, genetics, the NHS system and more agree the cause of autism is unknown, and it's even unknown if it has a cause. Contradiction with overwhelming evidence. Follow-up use of inulin after Rifaximin is sometimes used if intestinal symptoms are still present. If inulin does not make any significant difference as a follow-up therapy, I stop it. I never add probiotics after resetting with Rifaximin because probiotics can easily make things worse even if they helped prior to the use of Rifaximin. Personally, I support the vaccination of children. I am only against vaccinating children when they are experiencing bacterial overgrowth and when they have an unhealthy level of pro-inflammatory cytokines within their brain."

According to Dr Nemchek, symptoms in autism are related to bacterial overgrowth in the gut, which leads to systemic inflammation in the body, ultimately causes altered immune cell response in the brain. How it works in Autism? The brains of older kids that have experienced prolonged bacterial overgrowth and inflammation as well as more brain injuries that occur over time, generally take longer to show improvement but I have seen significant progress in older kids as well. If you suffer from unexplained bloating that you can’t seem to get rid of, it may be a hidden case of SIBO. I went from chronically bloated (like 7-months pregnant bloated…) to flat tummy in less than 2 months by simply following Dr. Nemechek’s advice. Keep reading to learn more! I wanted to thank you so much for all your hard work and research. My son is 2.5 and he is making great gains in his speech and engagement since beginning the protocol 6 weeks ago. First, inulin’s main effect is within the lumen of the small intestine where bacteria digest inulin through a process referred to as fermentation. The primary effect is the production of the healthy short chain fatty acid known as butyric acid. Only small amounts pass through to the colon.Don’t let the title fool you, this protocol is for so much more than autism. The Governing Principles Behind Dr. Nemechek’s Protocol
