Portable Egg light – You can use this night light from birth but as you child grows the glowing egg light can be simply lifted off its penguin base and used as a separate portable night light. First check that your Penguin night light is plugged in and the power is on, then press the on/off switch on the penguin’s base and adjust the dimmer wheel.
Its rabbit with a light may be the most costly of those we tested, but it performs on every level; comforting, full of nifty features and doesn’t require batteries. Super soft, lightweight and perfectly sized for little hands, the egg lights up when lifted off the penguin base. To run through the rainbow of colours this night light offers will take around 30 minutes, it will then go into standby mode – useful for a product powered by three AA batteries. It has four feature buttons hidden away at the back of the product and by activating the sleep function you can teach them when to sleep and when to wake up. Charging by the USB cable provided, it takes around 3 hours to fully charge, providing around 9 hours of working time.
