Put simply, Brady’s storytelling is beautiful. Her writing is descriptive and eloquent, full of detailed nostalgia and controlled emotion. Her paradox of dainty childlike innocence versus the trauma of adult mental illness is showcased so accurately through her fairytale analogy; so often used as a tool to express dark and light, she does so brilliantly in the concept of the wolf. 1.4.2|snap=12w37a|[[File:Steak JE3 BE2.png|32px]] The texture of steak has been changed, so that it no longer has a dark outline.}} That wasn't bad (though the bad decisions pissed me off), just different. And honestly, it was kind of nice to read something different. The way the wolves are portrayed as being rabid, caged by humans and a few scenes that happened to the FMC in her wolf form by a ‘human’ in a place of power were, in my eyes, animal abuse which was quite hard to read. I read dark books as a choice, but anything depicting animal abuse is a no from me as a personal preference as I know it will ruin a book for me.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read. It had a few problem areas but I liked the characters, the story and felt it was a good start to what I believe will be a great series! I loved the intertwining of Ian and the other characters into her store who have roles to play. Whilst some roles are obvious and that Harper and Ian are key characters. There something off about the situation that Harper is in. As a lot is unknown and the wolves of the sanctuary seemed to be too interested in Harper.You have two options for the fence itself: roundpole or stakewood. They both function the same, but roundpoles cost less wood to create.
